TRADE AND INVESTMENT INITIATIVE (ITI) INDIA 2011
The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) invites you to join the business delegation during the annual International Trade and Investment Initiative (ITI) to the 2 cities of Mumbai and New Delhi in India, from the 21 - 25 February 2011. This ITI is part of the Department's Export and Investment Promotion Strategy to focus on India as a new high growth export market, and also as a follow up to the recent Presidential State Visit to India which recommended efforts to increase trade between the 2 countries to $10 billion.
The activities will include trade and investment seminars, mini exhibitions and business to business meetings. This opportunity will also be a step further in creating market penetration for South African value added products and services in India and to promote South Africa as a trade and investment destination.
Find herewith attached an invitation as well as the Export Marketing & Investment Assistance (EMIA) application form and guidelines. The closing date for receipt of application forms is 30 November 2010, however applicants are advised to submit their applications well before this date to allow enough time for any refer backs and additional information requests.
