Welding Curriculum

This mail is of specific interest to engineering companies doing manufacturing, maintenance and fabrication work etc, in the Oil and Gas sector in particular.  We are often critical of the quality of trainees exiting our training institutions.  As it is essential for the skills in our sector to be benchmarked against global standards, this is an urgent matter.

We now have a unique opportunity to provide critique/comments on the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) draft apprentice qualifications for Welding.  This qualifications is hot off the press and require responses by 13 July 2012.
