Wesgro Trade Mission to Nigeria: 14 - 17 November 2011
Join Wesgro on a Trade mission to Nigeria from 14 – 17 November 2011. The mission forms part of Wesgro’s Western African Trade Corridor Programme, and will focus on exploring Trade and Partnership opportunities in Nigeria. Nigeria represents one of the most exciting markets in Africa, and it is expanding rapidly.
The Nigerian ICT sector has consistently attracted investors and its growth has provided a major boost to the economy, with the sector’s contribution to GDP increasing by 31% from 2005 to 2010. With a population of over 130 million people, Nigeria has emerged as a key business destination for SA companies. It is Africa’s largest oil exporter at over 2 million barrels per day and is richly endowed with other natural resources as well.
