ST2 Group is building Africa's billion-dollar integrated energy platform by 2035 — combining reliable fuel supply, large-scale renewable power generation, and strategic infrastructure development across Southern Africa and emerging regional corridors.
Through ST2 Trading and Projects, the group operates as a licensed petroleum products wholesaler, trading over 10,000 MT of fuel products monthly including HFO, LCO, LSR, LPG and illuminating paraffin, with established supply relationships with major IOCs and independent producers across the region. ST2 holds a NERSA wholesale petroleum licence and SACAA Annexure 1 aviation fuel supplier registration, effective April 2026.
Through ST2 Abangani, the group is advancing the 100MW Springbok iLanga Solar PV and 200MWh Battery Energy Storage project on 4,000 hectares in the Northern Cape — a flagship contribution to South Africa's Just Energy Transition and IRP objectives.
ST2's infrastructure division is actively developing import and storage terminals, gas-to-power projects, and renewable-linked energy facilities across South Africa, Namibia, and Mozambique, with a focus on strengthening regional energy security and supporting the continent's energy transition.
