Dear Members & Industry Stakeholders, 

 

The South African Oil & Gas Alliance (SAOGA) invites you to our upcoming in-person Onshore Energy Networking events in Johannesburg on Monday, 12 May and 13 May 2025. On the morning of the 12th May, we'll be collected at the Birchwood Hotel & Conference Centre and driven by Coach to the Renergen, Virginia Gas Project for a Site Visit and presentational project update including a lite finger lunch, then leisurely drive back to the Hotel. 

On Tuesday, 13th May, SAOGA Members will have the opportunity to hear from Jaco Human, CEO of the Industrial Gas Users Association of Southern Africa (IGUA-SA), as he provides a crucial update on the ever-looming Gas Cliff and its implications. Additionally, ROMPCO will share insights on the latest developments and status of their key assets, offering valuable industry perspectives.

RSVPs for breakfast will be dealt with on a first-come first-serve basis, with preference given to members.
 
SAOGA Networking breakfasts are principally aimed at helping people in industry to network in an informal environment.  Breakfasts are scheduled from 8h00-11h00 and typically run as follows: Guests arrive between 8h00 and 8h30 and meet over coffee. At 9h00 the speaker is introduced and generally talks for about 20min followed by 10-15 minutes of questions and discussion.  Once this is done breakfast is served at the tables and informal discussions continue for the remainder of the event. People generally depart between 10h30 and 12h00.
