DIVE TECH CENTRE

Dive Tech Centre is an institute that provides practical and theoretical training, prescribing to IMCA standards to students in the diving industry. We thrive in training students to work in the off-shore, on-shore commercial world of diving. Trainees are taught the a to z about the dive equipment that commercial divers will be using as they are working.

Dive Tech Centre was started by Izak Roux. He started out his career as a sport diver, his interest in this wonderful sport sprouted, to being qualified as a commercial diver in courses iv, iii and ii. He gained the world’s experience under the water and in a suit, learning how each component works that needs to come together as divers’ lives depend on. His interest as a technician in the oil industry grew more and being qualified as a Fitter and Turner, his new journey started in 2012. Fitter and Turners are highly skilled craftsman who can manufacture, construct, assemble and fit components for machinery. Working as a Dive Tech, this type of work, satisfied his curiosity and ambition. His previous experience in working in electrical and refrigeration aided immensely in following his new career. Izak has worked as a Dive Technician, contracting to companies all over the world. From Nigeria, Singapore, Bahrein, Dubai and Brunei.

With the enormous amount of experience that he has accumulated over the years, his knowledge and experience teaches students to be excellent Dive Technicians.
