Container World (Pty) Ltd was established in 1983, with our head office in Durban, South Africa. During the past 30 years we have expanded our operations to all major cities within South Africa and Namibia.
Container World’s services include the supply of new and used shipping containers both for sale and rental and the conversion (modification) of containers to a wide variety of applications according to our customer’s requirements.

Container World offshore is our specialist division, headed by Mr Ashley Smith, who has over 35 years in the Oil and Gas industry.
Dedicated to providing a superior level of service, we offer a wide variety of certified offshore containers to the Oil & Gas industry in both East and West Africa.
We are operational in Angola, aligned closely with our JV partners, trading under the name of ES-KO HABITAT Limitada..

The wide variety we can provide ranges from mini’s to small and large baskets, dry vans, reefers, tanks, toolboxes, etc.

We currently maintain stock of the more popular units in our Cape Town and Durban facilities, allowing for ease of shipping and accessibility.

Some of our services include, but are not limited to, short term rental & longer term leasing of containers.
Offshore container conversions to workshops, toolboxes, accommodation modules, and zoned offshore units.
All our CCU’s are LR Certified manufactured to DNV 2.7-1 and EN 12079:2006 standards and rig ready.
