Sea Safety Training Group (SSTG) is a SAMSA Accredited Training Organisation offering STCW approved courses in training centres located in Cape Town (Head Office), St Helena Bay and Port Elizabeth and satellite centres in Mossel Bay and Durban. SSTG ensures that Training, Consulting and Services are strictly controlled through our Quality Management System.

SSTG offer a unique concept where we supply not only the training but also the supporting systems to enhance safety and ultimately meet our client's obligations to legislation. These systems include crew placement; onboard training; Safety Management Systems; Conditional Surveys and Compliance Audits for vessels.

SSTG hold the largest number of accreditations in South Africa and specialise in providing basic and advanced STCW approved courses. Our educational programs include Officer in Charge of Navigational Watch; Master Coastal; Engineering and Fishing qualifications.

SSTG has a competent team of Fire Watchers and Safety Observers, as well as Tank Guards to assist with confined space entries. This dedicated team will provide additional safety services during maintenance projects and have successfully completed a number of maintenance projects on board rigs and offshore installations.
