The Saldanha Bay IDZ was designated by the Minister of Trade & Industry in October 2013 as South Africa’s premier free port servicing the needs of Africa’s Upstream Oil & Gas sector. We believe in providing a world-class offshore supply base focused on the ease of doing business, including one-stop shop support for government and regulatory services, purpose-built infrastructure and dedicated port access.
The provision of infrastructure supports investors with activities including rig repair and maintenance, equipment servicing, component fabrication and specialist logistics.
