International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC)
IADC’s mission is to advance drilling and completion technology; improve industry health, safety, environmental and training practices; and champion sensible regulations and legislation which facilitate safe and efficient drilling. Membership is open to any company involved in oil and gas exploration, drilling or production, well servicing, oilfield manufacturing or other rig-site services.

The International Gas Union (IGU) was founded in 1931. It is a worldwide non-profit organisation registered in Vevey, Switzerland with the Secretariat currently located in Oslo, Norway. Pipeline Industries Guild
The Pipeline Industries Guild was formed in 1957. Since then, it has evolved to be the only association world-wide to cater directly for the needs of the pipeline industry, regardless of engineering discipline, application, or qualification. The Guild's membership comprises those with interests in pipelines world-wide, transporting hydrocarbon products, chemicals, water, wastewater, and many other substances, both on and offshore.
The Energy Institute (EI)
The Energy Institute (EI) is the professional body for the energy industry, delivering good practice and professionalism across the depth and breadth of the sector. The EI is the leading chartered professional membership body for the energy industry, supporting over 16,000 individuals working in or studying energy and 250 companies worldwide. The EI provides learning and networking opportunities to support professional development, as well as professional recognition and technical and scientific knowledge resources on energy in all its forms and applications.
The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB)
The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is the statutory organisation, national training provider and awarding body with responsibility for the training and development of the UK’s engineering construction workforce. Acting on behalf of the industry, the ECITB works closely with Government and employers to attract, develop and qualify engineering construction personnel in hundreds of skills and disciplines. We provide businesses with the means to train the engineers of today and tomorrow to the highest standards, via our extensive, regionally-based network of almost 200 specialist ECITB- accredited course providers.
The Oil Council
The Oil Council is a network of oil and gas executives in the world, connecting oil and gas executives, and in turn their companies, to each other and to their partners in the finance and investment worlds. Their network spans the global oil and gas value chain and comprises Members (individuals connecting into our network) and Partners (companies connecting into our network to promote themselves regionally or globally).
Focus is on the business dynamics of oil and gas; the pioneers, partnerships, capital, transactions, joint ventures and capex that determine the future direction of the industry and shape tomorrow’s energy landscape. The Oil Council network of Members and Partners includes upstream, LNG/midstream, downstream and oilfield services leaders, as well as, recognised energy experts from investment banks, law firms, management consultancies, advisory boutiques, investment houses, technology providers and government ministries/regulators. The Oil Council brings these senior executives together to facilitate new investment, encourage business development, showcase excellence and promote thought leadership across the wider industry.
